Which pipes are suitable for connecting the four PE pipe connection methods?
- Hot-melt butt welding: Hot-melt butt welding uses a hot-melt butt welding machine to heat the pipe end (the hot-melt butt welding temperature is 210±10℃). After the pipe end melts, it is quickly fitted together, maintaining a certain pressure, and the purpose of welding is achieved through cold welding. HDPE pipes with a size greater than 90mm can be connected by hot-melt butt welding.
- Saddle-type butt connection: During the application of HDPE pipes, the problem of branching the main pipe according to actual needs is often encountered. Saddle-type tees can be connected by saddle-type butt welding, that is, a saddle-type butt welding machine is used to directly connect a saddle-type tee on the main pipe, and then the main pipe is cut with the equipped cutter. In this way, the main pipe is completed, and the construction is very fast.
- Steel-plastic flange connection: It is advisable to use flange connection when connecting it to steel pipes and valves. The connection between the steel pipe end and the metal flange should comply with the regulations of the corresponding steel pipe.
