Introduction to PE mining pipes
HDPE (high density Polyethylene) mining polyethylene pipes are made of special polyethylene raw materials with flame retardant and antistatic properties, and are formed by high-temperature extrusion using advanced production equipment. The raw materials are special materials made of PE resin with high-efficiency antistatic agent and high-quality flame retardant.
Mining pipes are made of polyethylene resin as the main raw material and added with appropriate amount of additives and extruded. In addition to outstanding antistatic and flame retardant properties, this type of pipe also has the advantages of high strength, good processing performance, strong environmental adaptability, excellent stress cracking resistance, and good creep resistance.
PE mining pipes are suitable for underground water supply, exhaust, compressed air, grouting and gas discharge in coal mines with a normal temperature not exceeding 40℃. The use pressure of the pipe is as high as 1.6Mpa. The special raw materials for PE mining pipes not only have excellent long-term compressive strength, but also have good resistance to slow stress cracking growth and rapid stress propagation. HE3490-LS is a special material for black PE100 pipes, which also has excellent anti-sag properties.
Our company organizes production and inspection in accordance with the requirements of the national coal mine industry standard MT588.1-2005 (Part 1 of plastic pipes for underground mines: polyethylene pipes), MT181-88 "Safety Inspection Specifications for Plastic Pipes for Underground Mines", and AQ1071-2009 "Safety Technical Requirements for Non-metallic Gas Transportation Pipes for Coal Mines", and has obtained the [MA] Coal Mine Safety Mark Certificate for polyethylene pipes for underground coal mines.
Product Features
- Flame retardant and antistatic: The antistatic and flame retardant components of polyethylene pipes for coal mines are evenly distributed in the pipe body, so the antistatic and flame retardant performance indicators will not be affected by long-term use. The antistatic and flame retardant properties meet national standards and are suitable for specific flammable and explosive places underground.
- Light weight and easy installation: The density of polyethylene pipes for coal mines is small, and the unit weight is only 1/8 of that of steel pipes and 1/3 of that of glass fiber reinforced plastic pipes. Therefore, polyethylene pipes for coal mines are not only easy to transport and install, but also can greatly reduce the labor intensity of workers and improve work efficiency when used underground.
- Corrosion resistance and no scaling: Polyethylene for coal mines has strong corrosion resistance and no scaling, and is particularly suitable for underground transportation of high-sulfur water and water containing calcium, magnesium and other ions. It greatly saves the cost of anti-corrosion and descaling, and the service life is much higher than that of steel pipes, with high comprehensive economic benefits.
- Self-lubrication: The inner wall of the polyethylene pipe for coal mines is smooth, with low resistance when conveying fluids, and the roughness is much smaller than that of steel pipes and FRP pipes. Under the same conditions, the conveying capacity can be increased by 30%. Good flexibility and strong resistance to geological settlement;
- Good anti-aging and rapid cracking resistance: The polyethylene pipe for coal mines has good anti-aging performance, is not easy to become brittle at low temperatures, and has good resistance to rapid cracking; it has good toughness and can effectively absorb impact energy; the bending modulus is moderate, and the elongation at break is as high as 400%. Under special operating conditions such as geological settlement and other phenomena that occur frequently in coal mines, the polyethylene pipe for coal mines can effectively avoid fracture accidents compared with traditional rigid steel pipes and FRP pipes.
- Good wear resistance: The wear resistance comparison test of polyethylene pipes for coal mines and steel pipes shows that the wear resistance of polyethylene pipes for coal mines is 4 times that of steel pipes. In the field of coal transportation, compared with steel pipes, polyethylene pipes for coal mines have better wear resistance, which means that polyethylene pipes for coal mines have longer service life and better economy.
- Impact resistance: The low-temperature brittle temperature of polyethylene is extremely low and can be used at lower temperatures. 8. High toughness: The elongation at break is generally more than 500%.
- Good flexibility: The pipe can be bent and used for offshore dredging pipes to reduce rubber soft joints. 10. Easy to connect: Hot melt connection, pipe clamp connection or flange connection are used for easy construction.
